MTN presented preliminary results from the HOPE study (MTN-025) at CROI 2018

The MTN presented preliminary results from the HOPE study (MTN-025) at the 2018 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI), March 4-7, in Boston. HOPE (HIV Open-label Prevention Extension) is an open-label study of the dapivirine vaginal ring for former ASPIRE participants. The purpose of HOPE is to gather additional information on the ring’s safety, how women use the ring knowing that it can help reduce their risk of HIV and the relationship between adherence and HIV protection.
